If you need further proof that comic book fanboys have Hollywood bending to their every whim, Deadline reports that AMC has greenlighted a new reality show produced by writer-director Kevin Smith that will focus on his comic book store, Jay & Silent Bob's Secret Stash, located in Red Bank, New Jersey.

“AMC is to television what Miramax was to cinema back when I first got in the game: they’re the premier destination for any story-teller looking to spin an offbeat yarn that no other outlet has the stones to touch. And as if I didn’t love them enough, now they’re putting my friends on TV!" Smith said in a statement.

Titled Secret Stash, the show will focus on the store's operations, as well as the fanboy culture that inhabits it; think Clerks, but with superhero books all around.

Secret Stash is set for an early 2012 premiere.
