In their ongoing quest to be the absolute best at everything internet-related, Google is introducing a Flipboard-esque social news reader called "Propeller."
The app is tablet-based and is speculated to run on Android or iOS—knowing Google, probably both. The few that have been lucky enough to see it allegedly describe it as "mind-blowing (sic) good."
The appeal will be much like that of Google Reader, which curates user-selected news into a consolidated package of content that the user can read in one place, presumably only now with an intuitive interface and slick design. I mean, it's Google, does this thing even have a chance at being awful?
