Over in Iceland, they let their imaginations run wild. A recent study by the University of Iceland’s folklore department shows that most Icelanders believe in elves.

According to Iceland Review, Icelanders are “much more open to phenomena like dreaming the future, forebodings, ghosts and elves than other nations." The study reveals that just thirteen percent of its participants believed that elves do not exist. There were five percent that had no opinion whatsoever, but overall, most Icelanders acknowledge that they believe in elves. While we don’t judge, we’re far more interested in why they believe in elves and other random phenomena. Any recent sightings?
