Experience '80s Nostalgia in "Take Me Home Tonight" Monday Night (9/19) in Philly

Topher Grace and Anna Faris want to make you laugh.

Tired of ‘80s nostalgia? If you can bear it, check out Take Me Home Tonight at the Trocadero in Philly on Monday. It’s the late ’80s, and MIT grad is Matt (Topher Grace) is working at a video store in L.A. Needless to say, he’s unsatisfied with the direction of his life. In order to impress his high school crush Tori (Teresa Palmer), he lies about being an investment banker for Goldman Sachs. Funny enough, she’s in banking as well. When she invites him to a party, his boy Barry (Dan Fogler) steals and Benz and they wind up at the coke-filled event with his twin sister Wendy (Anna Faris) and her boyfriend Kyle (Chris Pratt). Semi-hilarity ensues.

Nothing’s changed, so the film will start rolling at 8 p.m., but you’ll still want to get there before 7 p.m. for free beer and popcorn. We aren’t really expecting people to contribute to the DVD sales of Take Me Home Tonight, but the free food and liquor should make the film entertaining on a Monday night.
