In the wake of a seller on eBay attempting to auction off a portrait of a Nicolas Cage lookalike from the 1800's, The AV Club is now reporting that a strange photo has shown up on eBay that evidently provides irrefutable proof that John Travolta is a time traveler.
"I believe this is the photograph of a very young John Travolta taken around 1860 and I mean ..in the year 1860. This is a ruby glass ambrotype photograph and it is one of a kind. It hasn't been changed, tampered with or altered in anyway," the seller says in his online description of the photo. "It is clear and is as nice as the day it was taken roughly 151 years ago. I know..you are saying..John Travolta is alive today in 2011 and he doesn't look 151 years old. For those of you who don't know, John Travolta is a Scientologist and many Scientologists believe in a type of reincarnation. Of course Time travel can't be ruled out as well."
This whole theory may sound far-fetched, but how else would Travolta know to sign on to Quentin Tarantino'sPulp Fiction? Is it possible that a short jaunt into the future told him that the movie would be a massive success, and that it had potential to save his career? The point also needs to be considered that perhaps Battlefield Earth isn't so much a failed blockbuster as much as it is a documentary filmed centuries from now with Travolta's time defying buddies.
This all fits in with Travolta's belief in Scientology, a religion that has followers who claim they possess abilities such as telekenesis and telepathy. In fact, it has been reported that one anonymous follower has mastered time travel itself. Well, that's all the proof we need.
