Ubisoft Montreal has been playing a bit of mind games with fans of the recently released Deus Ex: Human Revolution. After posting a couple of cryptic strings of numbers within the main menu of the game (on various platforms) and sending out clues and hints via both Twitter and Facebook, the developer has finally come clean on the existence of new DLC for the hit game.

“The Missing Link” DLC has been announced officially via the RSS stream of the Deus Ex website. The new chapter of the game sees Adam stripped of his powerful augmentations and tortured by the enemy. It will be up to you to take control of a stripped down Adam Jensen and survive a trip on a freighter to an unknown location.

It will be very interesting to see how the gameplay “plays” out in this scenario as so much of the game is focused on Adam’s abilities. Do you think that DX:HR can survive without what is arguably its strongest component? Perhaps there is more to this scenario than meets the eye.

No release date has been announced for the Missing Link DLC pack.
