Fresh off a string of reports on illegal, non-sanctioned Apple stores, China has now opened an entire theme park based on the popular app game "Angry Birds." Only thing is, the park was not opened with permission from Angry Birds developers Rovio.
The park allegedly contains giant slingshots, and of course, endless varieties of knockoff plush birds. Yet it seems nearly inconceivable that an entire theme park could be built without any intellectual copyrights being thought of.
For their part, Rovio has played it rather coyly, merely suggesting that there "might" be a partnership in the works. Can you blame them? They've probably been permanently smirking and downright giddy since this stupid game made them millionaires, got them movie offers and inspired an entire black market theme park.
