Bethenny Frankel Insists She Never Lied About Skinnygirl Margarita's Ingredients

Whole Foods recently pulled the drink from their shelves after discovering that it's not "all natural."

None

Former Real Housewives Of New York cast member Bethenny Frankel has built herself quite the career as a successful businesswoman since leaving the show, from establishing her Skinnygirl brand to publishing best-selling books.

The whole philosophy behind the aformentioned Skinnygirl brand is simple: consume healthy and natural products for better living overall. Included in the line is a Margarita cocktail mix, which, until earlier this month, was sold in Whole Foods stores across the nation as it claimed to be "all natural" and without preservatives. But, according to TMZ, Whole Foods pulled the product a few days ago after discovering that's not exactly the case.

Now, Frankel is personally firing back to the rumors, saying on her website, "We would not sell anything that I don’t personally drink. I’m a natural foods chef and health is a top priority for me and my family. The Skinnygirl Margarita is made with natural ingredients and its label is consistent with U.S. federal regulations, which is why it is carried in stores nationwide and continues to fly off the shelves. I built my brand on trust and honesty. I don’t take lightly obvious attempts to put my integrity in question. I will always answer your questions and concerns directly and truthfully."
