The phenomenon of males using the anonymity of the Internet to appear as women has been commonplace since the first pornbot with penis pills to peddle. Well, the list grows longer with yesterday’s arrest of two British men, both in their twenties, who were nabbed for being the LulzSec and Anonymous hacker wunderkind “Kayla.”
“Kayla” was their cover for a faux 16-year-old hacker girl, who gained notoriety for her part in a hack of security firm HBGary, and for her flirtatious, girly demeanor in the realm of male-dominated hack groups.
For those who were disappointed to learn that Kayla was really two males: Gross—she was 16.
