Not again. 35 year-old Robyn Gardner of Frederick, Maryland has vanished from the same Aruba resort town that Natalee Holloway disappeared from in May 2005.
According to Fox News, Gardner was last seen snorkeling with Gary Giordano last week. NBC Washington reports that Gardner told her on-again-off-again boyfriend Richard Forester that she was on her way to visit her family in Florida, but opted to go to Aruba with Giordano, who’s currently in custody. Sounds shady already.
Giordano told investigators that Gardner did not return to shore after they went snorkeling, but Forester doesn’t buy it because that wouldn’t interest Gardner. His skepticism may also have something to do with the fact that Giordano has altered his story multiple times.
Jordan van der Sloot, who many believe killed Holloway, currently sits in a Peruvian prison following a conviction last year for murdering a woman on the fifth anniversary of Holloway’s vanishing.
According to the Natalee Holloway Resource Center, Garder had been staying at the Marriot’s Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino in Oranjestad, Aruba. She’s described at 5’5” and 120 pounds with blond hair and brown eyes. She also has distinctive tattoos on her left arm, rib cage and right bicep.
