Trailer Park: New "Red Tails" Clip Promises High-Flying, Emotional Action

There's some really spectacular dogfighting action going on in this trailer.

If you missed our earlier posting of George Lucas' Red Tails trailer late last month, we've got a second look at the movie, as well as a brand new poster for the film.

Inspired by true events, Red Tails offers a chance to look at the historic efforts of the Tuskegee Airmen, who had to fight past racial intolerance just to battle in World War II. Directed by Anthony Hemingway (The Wire, Treme), the cast is full of dependable acting talent from Terrence Howard and Bryan Cranston to Oscar award winner Cuba Gooding Jr.

We expect this movie to be more of an exciting actioner than a stale episode from The History Channel. This clip has it all: aerial dogfights, tense cinematic music, and even the obligatory group chant of "We fight!" Don't sign us up to enlist just yet, though. LucasFilm does a good job getting us ready for this spirited endeavor. Even the exclusive new poster, courtesy of MTV, has attitude.

Have a look for yourself below:

Red Tails will be flying into theaters nationwide on January 20, 2012.
