Even though it's not beginning to look a lot like Christmas just yet, the first trailer for A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas puts us in the yuletide spirit. It's been three years in real time since we last caught up with our favorite stoner buds, but it's been six years within the movie since the two friends played by Kal Penn and John Cho last hung out with one another. This third installment of the popular franchise, and their first outright holiday movie (and first in 3D) sees the doped-up duo reunited and ready for more trouble.
This time around, they shoot Santa Claus in the face with a shotgun, hit a heavenly nightclub with Jesus, and of course, Neil Patrick Harris is back to be the voice of insane reason — all in 3D. Oh, there's also claymation, as well as some purposely over-the-top attempts to mock themselves using 3D.
