Yesterday, reports surfaced that the clothing company Abercrombie & Fitch had offered the cast of Jersey Shore money to not wear their clothes, citing that any association with their brand could prove "distressing" for the company's fans. This is despite the fact that they actually sell a T-shirt that reads "The Fitchuation" over the front, but hey, that's just a technicality.
Mike "The Situation" and Pauly D fired back over Twitter today through their respective accounts, with the Situation linking to a CNN Money story detailing how Abercrombie's stock dropped 9%, with the accompanying comment, "Looks like Abercrombie got themself into a Situation!"
Pauly's tweet was slightly more sarcastic, reading, "Hmmm if They Don't Want Us To Wear Those Clothes Why Make GTL Shirts #yourPRsux", followed by a picture of the aforementioned shirts.
You have to admit it, he does has a point.
