“The Big Lebowski,” a.k.a. the greatest movie ever made, is now available for rent on Facebook via the network’s new “social theater” experience.

Over the years, the Coen brothers film has inspired group gatherings that eventually snowballed into the now annual, bicoastal Lebowski Fests. Now, in place of sitting in a theater as everyone quotes Walter word-for-word, Facebook users can post and share comments while watching the film online, as well as share scenes and quotes with friends.

Facebook’s partnership with The Dude comes on the heels of the 10th annual Lebowski Fest earlier this week, in which a full cast reunion (sans Tara Reid) was streamed live on Facebook. The film was also released on Blu-ray this past Tuesday.
