With the Galaxy S II's American launch imminent, T-Mobile has effectively RSVP'd for Samsung's superphone party with the Hercules-- a Galaxy variant that sports a mammoth 4.5 inch Super AMOLED Plus screen.

The phone is a slick, touchscreen number with a polished metal back and the standard Samsung navigation buttons around front. It's packing a 1.2 ghz processor, 1 GB of RAM and a 42 MBPS HSPA+ radio under the hood, with an 8 MP camera around back.

No release date or pricing has been announced yet, but the Galaxy S II's are expected to start dropping this fall.
