Ever nurtured a desire to go back to the late ‘80s and pimp out your Xbox Avatar? Well, don't worry then, August 25 will be an awesome day for you and others like you. Xbox LIVE will be making gear from the 1987 movie Robocop available to you to rock as you play your favorite titles. While your Avatar doesn't need to be blown to bits by the villainous Clarence Boddicker and his cronies, it's best to be on the safe side, right?
Gamers will also be able to swap actual money for virtual OCP, the Robocop logo, some Robocop 2 accessories, and even a pet ED-209 to have to harrass your friends. As of writing this, no pricing has been made available, but it's safe to bet that Xbox will try and keep it fair for those who aren't recession-proof.
