Steve Carell is returning to television! But for fans of The Office, not exactly in the way you may have hoped. Carell is producing a new series for Showtime called Laughing Stock. Hey, at least it'll be funny?
Stock is a docu-series that will feature interviews with generation-spanning comedians, from Carl Reiner to Don Rickles to Jerry Seinfeld to Carell himself. The former Office star will produce alongside David Steinberg, who will also host the show. Showtime expects to begin airing episodes of Laughing Stock sometime in January.
