The most surprising BlackBerry PlayBook features were the ones not included with the tablet upon its release earlier this year. Those who've spent anytime with RIM's tablet found they couldn't access their e-mail or use BlackBerry Messenger—two features that have become synonymous with the smartphone brand. The Canadian company is set to fill those holes this fall with a major update to the PlayBook that will bring both native e-mail, BBM, and calendar access to the tablet.
