Just when you think NBC is doing things right, there's this: the network is planning to reboot The Munsters in the near future.
Pushing Daisies creator Bryan Fuller is spearheading the operation, which should give you hope until you realize that he wants to make The Munsters darker and edgier. It will still be funny ("funny"), but will also explore the spooky scary Munster origins.
Couple this with the news that CBS is kicking the tires on Bewitched, and one thing is clear: TV execs are almost out of ideas.
