Do you think they'll be able to faithfully replicate the experience on your favorite current-gen platform?

None

While we're still playing the reboot edition of Mortal Kombat, sometimes you just get a hankering for some old-school fun. Warner Bros. has officially given us our wish, as they've tagged August 31 as the date the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection will appear on PSN, PC, and Xbox Live Arcade. The title offers fans, both new and ancient, to play Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 in their arcade states.

Available for $9.99 (800 Microsoft Points), the games will also feature online play, leaderboards, achievements/trophies, and is bound to scratch that golden age arcade itch. Do you think that Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection will be able to faithfully allow us to relive those glory days of lore? Developed by Other Ocean in conjunction with NetherRealm Studios prepare to experience the cheapness of Shao Khan all without a pile of quarters at the end of this month.
