Live Show Alert: Fool's Gold Day Off with Juicy J, A-Trak, Just Blaze, and More in NYC Labor Day (9/5)

No work, just hip-hop.

None

You won't be working on Monday, September 5, but NYC's Fool's Gold crew certainly will be, putting on a free hip-hop and DJ event in Soho. Last year's Day Off brought in Yelawolf and other MCs; this year's Day Off celebration features performances from Juicy J, Just Blaze and Danny Brown.

Fool's Gold, the Brooklyn-based label and record store, has been bridging the gap between hip-hop and electronic music since 2007. Fitting neatly into this aesthtic, Day Off also features appearances from the Brothers Macklovitch (A-Trak and Dave 1) and Araabmuzik, whose Electronic Dream is one of the year's most slept-on releases.

The show is free and open to all ages. Since everybody and their mother will be off, you'd best arrive early.
