Former "Survivor" Contestant Rupert Boneham Has Political Aspirations

He might need to upgrade his wardrobe, though.

None

If you've ever watched Survivor, you might remember Rupert Boneham as the contestant who wore a lot of tie-dye and was always friendly and sincere. You may even know him from his charity organization, Rupert's Kids, in which he helps at-risk teens turn their lives around. Respect.

But you probably don't know him as a contender for political office in Indiana.

That's right. The former reality star is making a move to try and gain the Libertarian nomination to run for Governor of Indiana. So far he's just opened an exploratory committee, but according to Indiana news site WIBC, a party chairman has commented that he'd have a good chance if he enters the race.

Well, if anything, he's certainly an interesting speaker.
