"Castlevania: Harmony Of Despair" Is Heading To The PlayStation Network

All of our waiting for a PS3 version has paid off!

None

We were quite disappointed that Konami's Castlevania: Harmony of Despair was only for XBLA. PlayStation 3 stans have been asking, "Where's the love?" and finally are getting their answer. The first multiplayer Castlevania game will on the PSN this September. Teams of up to six players race through large, distinct levels based on past games. The gamers goal is to defeat the level boss as fast as possible. It's a Diablo-style grindfest of the ages. Luckily for PS3 fans, they'll get a few bonuses to make up for its late release.

Named the "Beauty, Desire, Situation Dire" Map Pack, it was originally a paid DLC on the Xbox 360, and also the worst one, too. It's a good thing they're not charging for it on the PSN. Also added into this version are additional characters Julius Belmont and Yoko Belnades. Konami didn't actually drop an actual release date for Harmony of Despair, but September isn't a long way off, so we'll surely learn that soon.
