Bradley Cooper Flees From "The Crow"

Seems like he won't be rising from the dead on a mission of vengeance after all.

Honestly, we kind of had a feeling that something like this was going to happen. Bradley Cooper will no longer be starring as Eric Draven in Juan Carlos Fresnadillo's reboot of Alex Proyas' 1994 film The Crow. According to Heat Vision, Cooper, somewhat ironically, dropped out of the project to make way for his starring role as Lucifer in Proyas' Paradise Lost. The film, which begins filming early next year, recently added Benjamin Walker to play the archangel Michael.

So, with Cooper out, who will be up to the task to play the emo action star? Relativity Media is already putting the feelers out for possible replacements, which include Mark Wahlbergand Channing Tatum. Wahlberg could be a realistic choice, as he was vaguely attached to the project earlier this year. While both men may not be the best choice, we're willing to give it a shot since the classic actioner needs some fresh wings so it can fly to the top of the box office.
