GLMPS has an innovative but simple way to make photo sharing more fun: add video.

The new app, available for free in the iTunes App Store today, captures a five-seconds immediately before a photo is captured and then appends that little bit of footage to a photo that you can easily share on your social networks or blog. The video clip adds some fun context to your shots, immortalizing those ephemeral moments before a static image is captured and adding a new layer to the story.

GLMPS was founded by Paul Robinett, he of Coke and Mentos fame, and has already attracted interest from Foursquare and Apple, according to Business Insider.
