Now that the San Diego Comic-Con is over, we can stop kicking ourselves for missing the first look at The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra. A follow-up to the wildly popular Nickelodeon series, the clip opens with Korra leaving her home in the Southern Water Tribe and making her way to the United Republic, the city founded by Aang and Zuko as a place for all elemental tribes to live in.

As the current incarnation of the Avatar, Korra artistically meshes well against the backdrop of beautiful landscape scenes and insane battles. The video features her showing off her impressive mastery of the elements of Water, Earth, and Fire. And even though peace has befallen the land, a mysteriously evil force named "The Equalists," led by a masked man named Oman, looks to disrupt the balance.

The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra is comprised of 26 episodes and will premiere sometime in spring or summer 2012.
