When your professional boxing record is a mere 32 wins, 11 draws, and 256 loses — it's safe to say that you're a true underdog. While the name Peter Buckley isn't a name placed alongside one of the greats, his serious fighting spirit has become the focus of an upcoming untitled biopic chronicling his life.

Director George Tillman Jr. (Notorious, Faster) is stepping behind the camera to helm the project. No stranger to biopics (he also called the shots in 2000's Men of Honor), Tillman should have no problem telling the tale of the worst boxer of all-time. The script is being penned by Alex Davidson, who will most likely look to craft an inspirational story, despite the fact that Buckley, himself, was not a good boxer.

It may be able awhile before this one steps into the cinematic ring, but Tillman is already casting his next flick, The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete with Jennifer Hudson as its star.
