The 50 Best Movie Dialogue Samples in Hip-Hop

4. 2 Live Crew Samples Full Metal Jacket

Song: "Me So Horny" (1989)

2 Live Crew meet Stanley Kubrick. God, you gotta love the totally random way hip-hop can sometimes amaze you. That the pervy purveyors of booty shakin' Miami bass would mine the Vietnam war satire Full Metal Jacket (1987) in order to give birth to hilarious pornographic nursery rhymes is unexpected; the political incorrectness in the song's content, not so much.

Although it uses a brief moment from the Richard Pryor comedy Which Way Is Up? (1977) (the "Sock it to me!" specifically), the bulk of the filthy verbalz for the intro and hook are lifted from the flirty hooker (Papillon Soo Soo) in Kubrick's epic, who promises to give Private Joker (Matthew Modine) "every t'ing" he wants for just ten dollars. "Me so HORNY," she assures him with an accent thick like Luke dancers. "Me love you long time." And, a long time later, this still is one of the best rap tracks to ever flip film dialogue.
