The creative braintrust behind Mandate's upcoming cancer dramedy 50/50 is teaming up for another dose of funny.

Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, director Jonathan Levine, and writer-producer Will Reiser are developing a road-trip comedy called Jamaica, which sees 50/50 scribe Reiser back on writing duties and once again drawing upon real-life experiences.

Everyone seems to be on-board with reprising the same roles that they did during their last effort: Levine will direct, while Rogen and Goldberg will produce the film. The real-life tale will be based on a vacation Reiser took to the Caribbean island with his grandmother when he was only fourteen.

It's great to see an infusion of creativity coming back into cinemaplexes these days. For 50/50, the foursome took Reiser's battle with cancer in his late twenties and turned it into one of this year's most promising indie films.

You can see for yourself when 50/50, starring Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Anna Kendrick, hits theaters on September 30.
