Pandora is no longer reliant upon the likes of Facebook and Twitter for interaction between its users. This week, the streaming service rolled out a new iteration, strutting its own social media capabilities.
It now relies more heavily on user profiles and features an all new “Music Feed”—similar in theory to Facebook’s “News Feed”—where users are privy to what their friends are listening to, talking about, or rating up-to-the-second. And because you’ll be doing more on Pandora than just listening to music, a playback control bar will follow you wherever you navigate for easier accessibility.
