While it's not a rule that the creators of a social network must be the most popular users of said social network, people are finding it surprising that Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg's popularity on the Google+ social network is greater than Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
According to SocialStatistics.com, Zuckerberg is the most followed user on Google's new social network with 29,543 followers. Larry Page is right behind him with 19,878 while Sergey Brin notches in fourth place with 15,656.
Interestingly enough, Google+, which was launched last week, has no celebrities in its top 100 users, with the list being primarily made up of tech industry heavyweights.
