If you were bummed about missing out on the cash cow that was Jersey Shore, you're in luck—the casting and production companies behind the show, Doron Ofir Casting and 495 Productions respectively, are making a new show! This time though, instead of perpetuating the guido and guidette stereotypes, they're tackling a whole new group...southerners.
A press release for the show (to be called Party Down South) that went out a few days ago pretty much says it all:

Likewise, a website has popped up for the series that pretty much calls for the same thing, except in slightly more...colorful language. Apparently, their 'g' key was broken when they reached the end of most action verbs.

Too soon to tell if this is the next reality television show gem that we've been waiting for, but it's looking promising.
