Friday Night Lights may have gone off the air for good on Friday, but it seems that Mrs. Coach will be back in your life soon enough. Though in a wildly different role. FX has picked up the Connie Britton-led American Horror Story for series. The Ryan Murphy-created show will likely premiere on Oct. 5, with a full series rollout planned for Halloween.

Described as a "psychosexual thriller," Horror Story focuses on a therapist (Dylan McDermott) and his wife (Britton) dealing with the aftermath of his adultery. There's also a supernatural element to the proceedings too, just because.

Rumor has it that FX will rollout the pilot episode during a special screening at Comic-Con on Saturday. Stay tuned for reactions, if that's the case.
