One of the coolest panels at Comic-Con over the weekend? How about Family Guy? Not only did the cast and crew show up to chat with fans (including surprise guest Seth MacFarlane), but they dropped some major information on the assembled few. For instance, did you know there could be a Family Guy feature film?
"We’ve actually had meetings about it, which makes it real,” MacFarlane said, before hedging that nothing is in the work just yet. As for what fans can expect from their favorite animated series, try some guest stars. The next season will feature voice work from Ricky Gervais, Cate Blanchett, Ryan Reynolds and Anna Kendrick. There will be some time travel too: Stewie and Brian travel back to the pilot episode. "Bad animation and all," said MacFarlane.
All in all, things are lining up for a great Family Guy season. Fingers crossed the movie happens sooner rather than later.
