In their continuing effort to be controversial, Discovery Channel is apparently soon going to announce a new show for their line-up that will be similar to Storage Wars; only, it'll take place in an Oakland medical marijuana dispensary shop, and will be called Weed Wars. And with that, a million stoners' ears just perked up.
The store being featured, Harborside Health Center, calls itself the largest legal retailer of cannibas. The show will follow the owner of said store, Steve DeAngelo, and focus on how the product is prepared and ultimately sold.
Nancy Daniels, Executive Vice President at the Discovery Channel, had this to say about the series: "Weed Wars fearlessly pulls back the curtain on a once illegal and still controversial world. From the inner workings of the business to Steve’s distinctive leadership style, Weed Wars is a fascinating glimpse into this highly unique setting. Like Gold Rush or Deadliest Catch, these are guys pursuing their own version of the American Dream."

This is brilliant news for naturopathic medicine. I am 18 and I had a brain tumor removed last year that grew back in March. I was told it would kill me and that the only thing they could do for me was to give me chemo that would ruin whatever time I had left. My family decided to take action and I've been taking marijuana for 4 1/2 months and the fact that my tumor has not reoccured yet is a miracle in itself. It has been shown to cause total regression of a brain tumors in a 13 year old and 14 year old boy in England and in a baby in the US. I am so excited for people to hear about this! Pharmasutical companies want to keep it quiet becaue they can't charge us for the best medicine in the world that is available in nature.

this is going to be a totally cool and experimenting show for us there is just way to many kinds of pot out there it's good that some people will know what their talking about. I'm hoping to get my license as soon as i have enough money for it for not being able to sleep without pills which has had its toll on my bladder.
