Videos: Take A Look At HP’s Upcoming TouchPad Tablet

Before the long-awaited WebOS 3.0 tablet hits stores, check out all of its features.

On July 1, HP will officially join the tablet market with its WebOS 3.0- based TouchPad. Don’t know too much about the TouchPad? All you really need to know is that it’s running the all-new version of Palm’s mobile OS which will boast a new notification system, a new card-based multitask method to allow the switching of open apps. Power will be derived from a 1.2 Ghz dual-core Snapdragon processor. It’ll rock with 1 GB of RAM, Bluetooth, wi-fi, and a 1.3 MP camera. For storage, you’ll be able to choose from 16 GB or 32 GB. All of this will cost a very iPad-like $499-$599.

Sounds good, right? Sure, but visuals make everything more enticing. HP agrees. Over the weekend, it dropped nine videos showing off the TouchPad’s features and capabilities—everything from its wireless charging, new notification system, Internet integration, and entertainment features.
