The Marriage Ref, the NBC reality show produced by Jerry Seinfeld, features couples who have little disputes in their marriage and, well, refs them. But Howie Kohlenberg, who appeared on the show with his wife in March 2010, is claiming that it actually ended his marriage.

And his claims are perfectly timed with last Sunday's new season premiere, might we add!

"The headline should read, 'Jerry Seinfeld ruined my life: the danger of reality shows,'" Kohlenberg told the New York Post, saying that his wife left him and their son to pursue a career in reality television, vying to join the legions of Real Housewives wannabes. "Jerry, Mr. Billionaire, I blame. And his show."

While we do feel sorry for dude, we've got to call foul on blaming Seinfeld. The show, sure, but unless Jerry came and lured this guy's wife away from a contract for The Real Housewives of Whatever Other City They Haven't Covered Yet, it's not his fault. Besides, don't people on The Marriage Ref have tons of marital problems to begin with?
