Already signed on for two Avatar sequels, Sam Worthington has been snapped up to go into outerspace yet again for an untitled sci-fi film at Warner Bros. Deadline reports that the studio has closed on a deal for a pitch written by relative newcomer Aaron Guzikowski, with Clash of the Titans producer Basil Iwanyk also on board. No real details have been given about the film yet.
Since his trifecta of Terminator: Salvation, Avatar, and the Clash of the Titans remake, Worthington has traded CGI-laden muscle pictures for quieter ensemble dramas. The Australian actor is currently in theaters alongside Keira Knightley in the romantic drama Last Night, and is now filming the Clash sequel, Wrath of the Titans. He'll next be seen in the dramas The Debt and Man On A Ledge.
