With all the spin-off shows planned around Jersey Shore cast members Snooki, The Situation, Pauly D and JWoww, it seems likely that MTV will eventually have to recast the hit reality show. Reports even started circulating that the network was looking for some new guidos and guidettes. Well, hold the fake tanner! MTV says no such replacements are planned.
"We love the present cast, and their summer adventures have just begun," a spokesperson told THR. "We currently have no plans to recast the show."
Phew. GTL might really be for life. The new season of Jersey Shore starts filming later this summer.
