Sorry, Hulkamaniacs—you're not going to like this one. In her new book, Wrestling The Hulk: My Life Against The Ropes, Linda Hogan admits that she was afraid her now ex-husband Hulk Hogan would kill her in "one of his rages."
"He tore my shirt," she writes. "He threw lamps. He held me down on the bed with his hands around my throat during arguments, slamming doors, pounding walls. I was always afraid he would kill me in one of his rages."
While promoting the book on The Today Show, the former Mrs. Hulkster blamed his behavior on prescription pills that he took for the injuries he'd received during his wrestling career. "There was a constant flow of pain pills, anti-inflammatories, steroids — a lot of them did take steroids. Combined? You don’t know what you’re dealing with."
The couple, who starred together in the rather popular VH1 reality series Hogan Knows Best with their daughter Brooke and son Nick, divorced in 2008.
It's safe to say, if this is true, Hulk Hogan certainly does not know best.
