Rockstar Games has announced that a digital short story anthology revolving around its most recent game, L.A. Noire, is now available as a free download. L.A. Noire: The Collected Stories features eight original short stories from acclaimed mystery writers Megan Abbott, Lawrence Block, Joe Lansdale, Joyce Carol Oates, Francine Prose, Jonathan Santlofer, Duane Swierczynski, and Andrew Vachss.
Many of these stories will directly tie in to the characters and plot of the game and all of them will feature the same air of mystery and intrigue that has made L.A. Noire such a hit. Each story will also feature stunning artwork that perfectly captures the mood and atmosphere of the game. The e-book will be available for download at Amazon, iTunes, and the Barnes & Noble e-Book store.
But act fast because after June 12 this anthology will no longer be free and will cost a whopping $0.99 for purchase! Still a good deal if you ask us.
