Sprint has gone ahead and made an honest gadget out of the anticipated next-generation HTC Evo, giving the upcoming Evo 3D an official release date of June 24th. You can pre-order the 4G phone for only $199 from Best Buy today, or if you're a Sprint Premiere customer, you can actually buy yours online from Sprint starting June 21st.
The Evo 3D, announced earlier this year, is the first glasses-free 3D phone available in the US. It not only displays 3D photos and videos on its super bright qHD display, but features twin 5 megapixel cameras on back for shooting your own 3D footage. The phone has HDMI out for connecting to the big screen, a 1.2ghz dual core processor, Android 2.3 gingerbread and a 4.3 inch screen. At least on paper, it's a beast.
