In May, all we had was a cartoony image to guess what Gotham City Imposters was all about. Now we have a shiny E3 trailer and, as suspected, it’s a team-based shooter that oozes a comedic Team Fortress 2 vibe. It’s goofy, silly and comes jam-packed with gadgets and toys as players choose sides—The Bats or The Jokerz—to duke it out for control of Gotham City. Batman purists will probably balk at the wild departure from the franchise’s decidedly grim tone, but the success of the downloadable game will come down to one key factor when the game launches: Is it fun?
