Marketing materials for the Mass Effect series have almost exclusively featured the male version of Commander Shepard despite many fans preferring Jennifer Hale’s FemShep voice acting. BioWare marketing director, David Silverman, tweeted that not only are they making a Mass Effect 3 trailer featuring the female Shepard, she will also share the collector’s edition box cover with her male counterpart. We’ve always been fans of the male Shepard, but with the announcement of even more same-sex romance options in the third game, it just might be FemShep time. [via Joystiq]
