From Starbucks to Madison Square Park, there are a number of places around New York City where you could enjoy free wi-fi. However, nowhere in NYC is there an entire neighborhood completely blanketed with free Internet connectivity—until now. Thanks to a private-public partnership spearheaded by Two Trees Management Company and DUMBO BID, DUMBO, Brooklyn's waterfront neighborhood will become the first 'hood in NYC to have free wi-fi

DUMBO Wi-Fi will fully cover all of the area's parks, plazas, and run throughout its streets. DUMBO's popular park area situated between the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges will be especially well covered. The wi-fi network will be installed and maintained by NYCwireless, a non-profit organization that pushes for free public wi-fi in NYC.
