Charlie Sheen has admitted to taking yet another drug...so who's shocked? OK, no surprise here, but, still, Sheen recently told Sports Illustrated that he was "roided" up while shooting the 1989 baseball comedy Major League. The Warlock famously played the fast-pitching Ricky "Wild Thing" Vaughn, a part for which he says he juiced for "six to eight" weeks hoping to give his performance an edge.
According to TMZ, he added, "You can print this, I don't give a f--k. My fastball went from 79 [mph] to like 85." A whole six miles per hour more; clearly, the drugs paid off.
We have a special place in our hearts for 'roid heads, but experimenting with the drug for a movie role is about as weak as musicians putting their asses under needles.
