This LEGO Super-8 Film Projector Actually Works

What's this? A working LEGO creation? Yes, sir.

We've seen a multitude of things made from LEGO blocks. Everything from iMacs, bow-ties, and Iron Man suits, with the common denominator being that, except for the bow-tie, none of them work. Now we've finally come across a LEGO creation that you could really use: a Super-8 film projector

Created completely out of LEGO blocks by Friedemann Wachsmuth, the only parts of this project that don't come from the colorful block company are the lens, lamp, and reel spindles. It cranks film at 24 frames-per-second with rewind and fast-forward functionality.

We don't play many (read: any) Super-8 movies, but if Wachsmuth was selling these, we would definitely cop.
