Not to be outdone by their big brother network competitors, The CW unveiled its 2011 fall schedule on Thursday, and it's rife with familiar faces sure to delight anyone who loved teen television in the late '90s and early '00s.
Sarah Michelle Gellar will return to series TV for the first time since Buffy the Vampire Slayer with Ringer. The show has been described as an "edgy thriller" with a revenge slant. The CW will debut it at 9 p.m. on Tuesdays this fall.
Also returning to television: Rachel Bilson. The girl formerly known as Summer Roberts on The O.C. will lead the Josh Schwartz-produced Hart of Dixie, a fish-out-of-water series about a New York doctor who inherits a medical practice in the South. So, Doc Hollywood meets Gossip Girl. Scott Porter (Friday Night Lights) co-stars.
