With the exception of the odd television commercial or reality show, Roseanne Barr hasn't appeared on television very much since Roseanne went off the air. If Chelsea Handler has her way, though, the TV icon could be returning to series work next year.
Handler reportedly wants Barr in Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea, the NBC midseason comedy based on her memoir. Laura Prepon plays Handler in the show, with Handler playing her own sister. As for Barr? “I’m talking to Roseanne Barr to do some guest episodes as my aunt,” Handler told The Hollywood Reporter. “She’s interested in doing it, so it should be fun.”
Should be. Or not. Either way, our interest is certainly more piqued than it was before Barr was being discussed.
