Rooftop Films' Summer Series Begins Tomorrow (5/13) in NYC

Indie films screened outdoors, all summer long.

None

For the past 13 years, Rooftop Films has screened indie movies in unique outdoor locations around New York City. Tomorrow, their 14th Summer Series begins with This Is What We Mean By Short Films, a nine-film program of shorts. The films are from all over the globe, and come in the form of appropriated YouTube videos, animation, straight foward narrative about video games, and more. One even stars Will Oldham. This is a great opportunity to celebrate our collective release from winter with new, forward-thinking art.

For a complete list of the films, including brief summaries, please check out Rooftop's website. The films will be screened at the Open Road Rooftop on the Upper East Side.

Please note: this is just the opening of the Summer Series. There will be screenings all season long. Peruse Rooftop's website for the complete list along with their respective screening locations (they bounce around).
